Reporting to the People and Culture Partner, the
People and Culture Advisor is responsible for delivering precise and timely counsel, assistance, and transactional services to managers, team members, and internal people and culture departments.


The advisor is tasked with offering training and guidance to Business Unit Managers, ensuring efficient team member management, compliance with legislative requirements, industry standards, and adherence to WesTrac policies and procedures.

Additionally, the advisor provides assistance to People & Culture Business Partners in managing people processes.

This is a full-time 6-month fixed-term opportunity located at our Head Office in South Guildford, WA.

To be successful the following is required:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant field, or actively undertaking HR studies or AHRI Membership; OR significant industry experience
  • Previous experience in a HR officer or Generalist role with exposure to working with frontline operations
  • Customercentric approach, driven to deliver results, with a problemsolving mindset and proactively seeks solutions, acquires information independently, and provides effective resolutions
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, excels in multitasking, and prioritises workload
  • Knowledgeable about current employment law legislation
  • Adaptable and flexible approach, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and stakeholder management at all organisational levels
  • Exceptional grammar, verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Desirable previous experience in SuccessFactors HXM
