Andromeda Metals Limited is an ASX listed industrial minerals company. As a near-term producer of halloysite-kaolin, our vision is to supply the world with superior quality industrial minerals, enabling our customers to produce premium products and clean technologies.

The Company's current focus is to bring the Great White Project into production. Located south of Poochera on the Eyre Peninsula, the development of this unique and globally significant deposit will deliver substantial long-term benefits for South Australia and the Eyre Peninsula community.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing business growth and marketing strategies that will increase product awareness, generate leads and drive sales of our industrial mineral products. The incumbent will have an exceptional blend of industrial minerals knowledge with the ability to manage the relationships effectively and a strong commercial acumen in particular within the Asia Pacific Region.

About the role

  • Develop and own Andromeda's strategic business development plan & sales strategy to generate new contacts and leads; and identify opportunities in support of our targets in the Asia Pacific markets.
  • Be recognised as a subject matter expert in Kaolin/industrial minerals and an expert in marketing best practices and trends.
  • Maintain frequent and active engagement with the Executive Team to ensure alignment and collaborate on opportunities or challenges relating to sales and marketing;
  • Lead the development of marketing strategy by working closely with clients, managers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our product.
  • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns, including testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows
  • Establish a global network of distributors/agents and assist to set up and implement market plans.
  • Manage the relationship with offtake partners to ensure the companies interests are protected at all times

About you

  • Commercial and technical understanding of respective markets and the channels to develop go-to market strategies.
  • 10 years + experience in sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge and experience dealing within complex sales environment as well as developing international growth is a requirement for this role.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, economics or relevant degree.
  • Previous experience in Kaolin or other white minerals will be viewed favourably, but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, to facilitate communication and understanding amongst a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Possess cultural awareness and understand the values and business practices of your international regions.
  • You will be highly motivated, engaging and an outcome orientated individual who enjoys developing new business and building relationships.
  • You will have strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to form productive working relationships across all areas of our business.
  • You will be required to travel frequently both intrastate and internationally.
