About the Role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner position plays a crucial role in establishing strong partnerships with business unit leaders to ensure the successful delivery of People and Culture Plans throughout the organization. This role involves implementing modern People and Culture strategies, principles, and processes to support each business unit's goals in collaboration with the wider People and Culture team. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will be an experienced leader in Human Resources who mentors and enhances the capabilities of the Human Resource Business Partner Team.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Experience in delivering Customer Centric People & Culture services to drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in interpreting and implementing HR-related legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, influence, negotiation, and relationship management within the HR sector.
  • Capability to establish effective business partnerships by analyzing, evaluating, and implementing innovative workplace solutions using a risk management approach.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities through flexible workload planning and team resilience development.
  • Experience in supporting various People and Culture initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, show initiative, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
  • Proven expertise in conducting investigations, handling industrial and employee relations matters, and coaching the team for positive outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in promoting a customer-centric approach to HR governance and delivery within a multi-site organization.

  • Out-of-hours work and travel may be required.
  • Participation in the department's Performance Development Program is mandatory.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia is a prerequisite.
