An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and proactive Communications Manager to join Snowy Hydro and play a crucial role in supporting the transition to renewable energy.
Reporting to the Manager Communications, Marketing and Engagement, in this role you will lead a small, high-performing team to deliver high quality and innovative internal and external communications.
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Cooma, NSW with occasional travel to our sites across the Snowy Mountains.
Key responsibilitiesBuild and foster strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
Develop compelling and engaging communications as part of a multi-channel communication strategy
Oversee the delivery of visual communications inline with the Snowy Hydro brand guidelines
Work proactively to identify communication gaps and deliver high quality solutions and improvements
Continuously monitor, measure, and improve the effectiveness of communication channels and collateral
Deliver communication-related projects to enhance understanding of Snowy Hydro and our operations, particularly in our local communities
Support delivery of crisis communications
Your experience and capability
You are an intuitive and qualified communications professional with a minimum of five years experience and a degree in communications, marketing or public relations
You are an experienced and proactive leader, and thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
You are an excellent communicator, and can demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
You have demonstrated experience with reporting and evaluating communication effectiveness
You are familiar with public relations and marketing strategies, brand development, and standards
Desirable but not essential
Experience in delivering crisis communications is advantageous
Familiarity with the energy, utilities or construction industry is preferred
