Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies to facilitate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for renewable energy projects.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, cost, and sustainability considerations.Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, optimizing terms and conditions while adhering to company policies and regulations.
Oversee the procurement process from inception to supplier selection and contract finalization, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to forecast procurement needs and develop comprehensive procurement plans.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain high standards of quality and service.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and partnership.
Lead cross-functional teams in support of strategic sourcing initiatives, working collaboratively to achieve project objectives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing procurement activities.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with a strong understanding of procurement best practices and methodologies.
