We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our team as a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist at Mediix. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for managing a generalist workload in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: You will be responsible for providing clinical expertise in both obstetrics and gynaecology for inpatient and ambulatory patients, ensuring high-quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Lead and Mentor: Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modeling behaviors, participating in patient safety activities, teaching, and supervision.
- Contribute to Service Development: Participate in clinical audit, research, committee representation, and complaints management to contribute to the development of our services.
- Provide Specialist Outreach Services: Participate in the provision of specialist outreach obstetrics and gynaecology services to smaller health facilities.
- Medical Registration: Registration with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Professional Qualifications: Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (RANZCOG).
- Current Registration: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate.
- Health and Safety: Current vaccinations.
