Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, ensuring we attract and hire top talent to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Hire Manager to identify vacant positions and complete requisitions for the employment process.
  • Assist in coordinating interviews, including pre-screening phone interviews, sourcing, and selection.
  • Set up face-to-face interviews in a timely manner and undertake reference checks for preferred candidates.
  • Complete pre-employment compliance checks, including verifying proof of ID and collecting signed documents.
  • Ensure all mandatory new starter training is completed and coordinate with the care team for carer buddy shifts.
  • Set up system log-on and password access and ensure compliance with mandatory workforce competencies and qualifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date onboarding documents, both electronic and physical files.
Requirements
  • Relevant minimum qualification (Diploma of Business Administration or Human Resource Management).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a recruitment or HR administration role.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of older people.

  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
