Role:


The Education Support Generalist will provide essential support across various departments within the school, assisting in daily operations, administrative tasks, and direct support to students and staff.

This role is designed to foster a versatile and adaptive support system within the school, facilitating staff development and succession planning through cross-training in multiple Education Support roles.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily Organisation and

School Operation Support:

Actively contribute to the daily organisation and management of school operations, ensuring the smooth running of the school's daily schedule.

This includes managing calendars and excursion administration, recording staff absences, coordination of substitute teachers (CRTs), room bookings, adjustments to class schedules, and recording staff Time-In-Lieu (TIL) accrual and acquittal.


  • Administrative Support: Perform routine clerical tasks, including managing telephone inquiries, front office duties, assistance with bulk print runs, mail processing, purchase orders and dealing with suppliers, and maintenance of electronic and paper records.
  • Educational Program Support: Assist ES staff, teachers and Heads of Learning in the preparation and execution of educational programs, including exam, excursion and event planning, and resource coordination.
  • Staff Development and Relief: Actively participate in learning opportunities to understand the functions of various ES roles within the school, and provide relief for other ES staff to facilitate their professional development.
  • Relief Duty for

First Aid Officer:

Responsible for providing initial first aid and health support to students in need, under the supervision and within the scope of training provided.


  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to child safe standards and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful educational environment. Assist in the Emergency Management procedures of the school including the scheduling of drills.
  • All other duties as required by the Principal.
