About the opportunity:


Based in Melbourne, Vic and reporting to the General Manager Global Brands, you'll develop and implement strategic account plans, nurture relationships with ANZ Global Brand clients.

Your key focus will be on elevating Detpak as a premier packaging provider in the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) market by fostering customer loyalty and driving sustainable growth strategies.


In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Create annual Strategic Account Plans for Platinum customers
  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects and manage initiatives for Platinum customers to increase margin share and introduce new product lines.
  • Foster relationships with key customer stakeholders (ANZ) to build strong networks for sustained success.
  • Work with customers to produce accurate forecasts to provide demand insights.
  • Conduct commercial modelling for sustainable profitable growth, including managing pricing databases, negotiating pricing and promotions within established guidelines.
  • Implement and lead a robust Quarterly Business Review (QBR) program with key customers, focusing on continuous improvement and business development opportunities.

About you:

You will need:

  • Proven success in meeting business and personal objectives in a similar role.
  • Sound commercial acumen and demonstrable financial and legal literacy.
  • Experience in managing tenders and negotiations.
  • The ability to understand intricate concepts and synthesize market, commercial, and technical data to inform decisionmaking.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi task
  • The ability to collaborate, build strong networks, and influence stakeholders.
  • Highly developed analytical and problemsolving skills
While not essential, experience in a similar position within the FMCG, Distribution, or Packaging industries will be highly valued.
