SMAART Recruitment has partnered with a reputable facilities management group on a temporary (with view to permanent) role for a
functions and boardroom attendant / coordinator to assist in the coordination and management of functions, meetings, training, and events at their stunning 19th century heritage listed building, located on St Kilda Rd.


THE ROLE:

This is a hands on role where you will be involved in both preparation and delivery of functions and events, big and small

Duties include:

  • Coordination and management of functions, meetings, training, and events
  • Management of the guest relations
  • Management of all onsite inventory, equipment, and catering requirements
  • Direct delivery of food and beverage requirements including replenishment of consumables during the day
  • Daily coverage and relief of front office and reception duties
  • Management and delivery of the set up and clearing of all events
  • Procurement, coordination and management of 3rd party vendors
  • Administration, record keeping and accounts processing

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience working in a similar hands on role
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with all stakeholders
  • Intermediate level or above using Word, Excel and Outlook software
  • Availability to work after hours and weekends on multiple occasions throughout the calendar year
  • Hold a current RSA certificate (or be prepared to obtain prior to start)
  • Hospitality experience in a supervisory role will be highly regarded
