The Opportunity


We have an exciting opportunity in Queensland for a State Manager, who has a real desire to grow the business through the coaching and development of staff, setting sales plans & goals with their team and mentoring them to achieve success in their roles.

To be successful in this role you will come from Industry and enjoy building relationships with your team and setting them up for success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To assume responsibility and accountability for the achievement of overall financial and performance targets for the State.
  • To plan, implement and drive sales and marketing strategies and tactical activities, in alignment with the divisional strategy, to meet State targets that contribute to LMT Surgical corporate targets for growth and profitability.
  • To provide overall leadership and managerial support to the state in line with company purpose, values, and behavioural principals.
  • To proactively function as a member of the LMT Surgical Management Team.
  • Develop and facilitate product presentation, trialing, implementation and in servicing of products to meet customers' requirements.
  • Provide an overall State monthly report to the ANZ Orthopaedic Sales Manager by the due date of each month.
  • Increase awareness of new products and services through communicating their performance, quality, technology, education, warranty, and service.

Experience required:

  • A tertiary education in a related medical field such as a paramedic, biomedical engineer, science (anatomy), nursing, Bachelor of Science or similar
  • 35 years' experience working in a hospital environment with orthopaedic surgeons. Experience in orthopaedic extremities is ideal, however consideration will be given to individuals who have other orthopaedics medical device experience.
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
