The Manager Automotive leads a dynamic team of automotive inspectors and complaint handlers who resolve disputes and inquiries that cover motor vehicle purchases, repairs, dealer guarantees and warranty disputes.

Additionally, where a trader has not met their legislative responsibilities, this role leads the team to action a range of regulatory options such as education, investigation and/or compliance action.


The role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to:

  • Play a key and strategic role leading people delivering regulatory services including the co-ordination of timely responses to emerging consumer harms-
  • Provide specialist advice, briefings and customer insights on innovative strategies and solutions to support change and business improvement-
  • Influence and facilitate change initiatives to improve processes and systems to integrate best practice methodologies in line with business priorities and legislation-
  • Provide authoritative representation and strategic advice to both internal and external stakeholders on regulatory requirements and customer centric service delivery-
  • Collaborate in a dynamic and agile environment to develop solutions and deliver results

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or professional/industry accreditation and/or relevant industry experienceSalary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $139787 base plus superannuation
