About the Position

As the Senior Credit Associate reporting to the Finance Manager – Payroll & Billing, your main responsibility includes overseeing the credit assessment and risk evaluation processes, as well as resolving disputes. This role entails evaluating client creditworthiness, managing accounts receivable efficiently, making credit decisions, and collaborating with different departments to optimize credit and collections procedures.

*This is a 12-month fixed term contract*

Your main responsibilities:

  • Credit Evaluation: Assess new and existing clients' creditworthiness through financial analysis and credit reports. Determine suitable credit limits and terms, and conduct regular credit limit reviews.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely customer invoices in compliance with contractual terms and company policies. Maintain adherence to contractual agreements and pricing structures.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential credit risks, develop mitigation strategies, monitor outstanding receivables, and handle payment collections promptly. Address escalated credit issues and client disputes.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth credit and collections processes. Effectively communicate credit decisions and policies, and resolve client queries and payment issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on accounts receivable, credit risk, and aging of receivables. Track and report key performance indicators related to credit, billing, and collections.
  • Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to align credit policies with business goals. Coordinate with the legal department on credit matters and disputes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to the credit management process.
  • Audit: Support internal and external audit processes.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, resolving complex credit issues, liaising with legal teams, process improvement, and Oracle ERP Cloud System
  • Ability to work autonomously, make informed decisions, excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, customer-focused, internal and external stakeholder management
  • Prior experience as a Senior Credit Associate or Credit Controller, multinational organization exposure
  • Bring innovative ideas, solid experience, and knowledge to the team
