In a newly created role, the People & Culture Manager will report directly to the COO, and manage the creation and execution of the people strategy.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and implementing the HR framework to align with business objectives and to complement the existing company culture
  • Developing and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships
  • Introducing recruitment and retention strategies to facilitate team growth
  • Providing HR advice and support, including but not limited to: performance, pay, recruitment, WHS and return to work, ER and IR activity, engagement, organisational design, immigration, training and development.
  • Coaching and mentoring all leaders in effective people management and people practices
  • Establishing fair and competitive industrial and employment practices across all roles
  • Supporting a highperformance culture through continuous performance management and responsive learning and development activities
  • Designing and facilitaing training as required across the organisation
  • Managing the return to work and injury management process for both work related and personal injuries/illness
  • Promoting a culture of safety, innovation, and quality by contributing to continuous improvement, giving feedback, timely reporting (e.g. incidents/hazards, WHS matters
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning by staying informed about emerging trends, internal guidelines/training, best practices, and innovative approaches in quality and safety applicable to your role


To be considered for interview, you must have demonstrated experience in a HR role where you have been part of designing and implementing the HR strategy, coupled with relevant qualifications.


Your passion for delivering effective people initiatives will be matched with your ability to deliver in a hybrid solo role, with both strategic and operational responsibilities.

You will be experienced in advising on matters relating to Australian employment law and compliance requirements.

Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with people at all levels in a business.
