About the Role:

We're on the hunt for our very first Sales Lead to join our dynamic team, sprinkle some magic on our sales strategies, and keep the good vibes flowing. You will spearhead our sales efforts, drive team performance, and foster a culture of excellence, high-performance and collaboration. You will manage our sales and customer success team across Melbourne and New York, occasionally jetting overseas to spend time with our small team of gems in the United States. The role will have a large focus on developing team skills and working with our Head of Growth to build out strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

What You Will Own:
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales/customer success representatives to exceed sales goals and objectives. Build the team, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and development strategies are in place.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set clear targets and KPI's, monitor individual and team performance, whilst providing regular feedback and coaching to optimize sales performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Work alongside our Head of Growth to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Sales Forecasting: Forecast sales trends and track sales metrics to make informed recommendations to our Head of Growth on our sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
Who you are:
  • Proven Sales Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a similar industry, demonstrating successful team leadership and achievement of sales targets.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Essential for leading a team, liaising with other departments, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in Team Building: Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Familiarity with Sales and CRM Tools: Proficiency in using modern sales technologies and CRM platforms to drive sales efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies under guidance, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
