About School Workforce
The Program Delivery, School Workforce team leads and coordinates critical projects for the Department as part of the NSW Teacher Supply Strategy.
Program Delivery team was established in response to an increased number of workforce reform initiatives and executive priority projects in School Workforce including boosting the supply of quality teachers.
About the role
The Casual Workforce team is an agile project team that is focussed on policy and programs that positively impact our students, teachers and schools, both now and into the future.
This will include:
- Provide policy, project and operational support
- Preparing, monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables
- Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating meetings and preparing papers, to support project management delivery
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess a great blend of skills, including:
- Passion, enthusiasm, resilience, and energy to thrive in an agile and adaptive environment
- A customer centric and growth mindset with strong decisionmaking skills as well as have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven experience in data analytics, and financial forecasting/management.
Key knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
