About the Role

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.


Your role as the Project Officer is to assist and support Senior Project Director, Project Director, Assistant Project Director/Project Lead and Senior Project Officer to manage and provide administrative support on a portfolio of projects.

You will perform project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.


The role will require you to:

  • Communicate, collaborate and develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders in supporting and delivering project plans and objectives.
  • Provide a range of project management and support services to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and to quality standards.
  • Administer projects using SINSW's systems, processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Source, collate and compile data to identify emerging issues and report on project progress against set milestones and deliverables.

About You

  • Highly organised.
  • Able to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes.
  • Able to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders across multiple projects.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, highvolume and agile project management environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • Current general construction induction card (White Card) or attain one within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
