As the Assistant Director, you'll be at the forefront of our transformative journey.

Your expertise will shape the program's implementation, administration, and collaboration efforts, ensuring that our scientific goals are met, and impactful outcomes are delivered.


About the role:

  • Coordinate the seamless execution of the program, including administration, contract management, financial oversight, and communication strategies.
  • Lead the design and execution of the Program's Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Improvement Framework, ensuring that progress is tracked and communicated effectively.
  • Forge and maintain vital partnerships with internal teams, external stakeholders, government agencies, and researchers to maximize the Program's impact and enhance collaborative opportunities.
  • Utilise your program management experience, particularly within a sciencerelated discipline, to drive the successful delivery of this significant initiative.
  • Leverage your exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, influence stakeholders, and drive collective efforts towards shared objectives.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment by managing competing priorities with efficiency, harnessing knowledge, and utilising resources to ensure timely and impactful results.
  • Demonstrate your mastery of complex information through outstanding written and oral communication skills, enabling you to distil intricate concepts for diverse audiences.

About You:

  • A proven track record in program management or coordination, ideally within a sciencerelated field.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adept at navigating changing environments, using your expertise to deliver results amidst competing priorities.
  • Analytical prowess and the ability to synthesise and convey complex information with clarity and impact.
