The Commercial Manager will be primarily responsible for planning and coordinating all procurement activities that includes oversight of the contract management process, as well as contract negotiations and document management and requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, affiliates and vendors, including internal teams; procurement, legal, taxation, finance, project management, technology teams, operations and business operations.


Experience required:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in contracts management and/or vendor management across a variety of processes and functions, particularly in the areas of IT supply, license, support and services agreements
  • Proven complex procurement experience with responsibility for delivery of procurement benefits including financial savings
  • Solid expertise in building strong and productive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Strong influencing skills at senior levels to influence acceptance of a new way of working
  • Excellent communication, written and influencing skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholder and contexts
  • Ability to analyse information and present a clear, accurate summery to a variety of audiences

Day to day responsibility:

  • Manage the relationship/interaction with Procurement and Legal departments (i.e. act as the program window)
  • Manage the relationship with global commercial leads
  • Manage the pipeline of commercial activities for the program
  • Ensure appropriate program commercial governance (e.g. NDAs, contract management, signing authority, internal reviews etc.)
  • Create a strategy and plan for the contract and supplier management activities for the program's commercial agreements. Ensure consistent approach across all contracts.
  • Identify relevant contracts & establish and maintain contracts register
  • Develop & manage a detailed activitybased plan for the execution or amendments of contracts.
