The Role

  • Provide technical and functional leadership, expertise, advice and support to Management and Project team in negotiating, establishing and administering contracts/subcontracts and business agreements with internal and external clients/suppliers.
  • Provide commercial and contract administration support to Project Management to achieve business outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction and commercial guidance and support for the identification/mitigation of risks and the resolution of contract management, contractual and commercial issues.
  • Provide commercial direction, coaching, guidance and support to Project Leads (Managers/Senior Engineers), Contracts, Commercial teams in the resolution of contract variations, claims and potential disputes.
  • Client engagement and relationship development to protect the company's interests.
  • Drive and lead a culture of safety, environmental and health leadership.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary degree in business or commercial management (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce).
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with P6.
  • Previous experience within the construction industry is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adequate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail.
