Team Leader - Pharmaceutical

We present a new and exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills to join our team at the Brunswick Facility on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Compounding Manager, you will be responsible for constructing and guiding a high-performing team to meet organizational and customer needs.

Collaborating with our management team, your role will involve spearheading our Compounding team, overseeing production activities, and supporting the Compounding Manager in achieving quality, operational, and business targets.

Your primary focus in this position will encompass people management, enhancing production efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, boosting productivity, and upholding quality standards.


Key Duties:
  • Driving the execution of company initiatives and integrating them into the team's culture
  • Supervising staff resources
  • Managing staff schedules, performance evaluations, and career advancement
  • Recruiting new team members
  • Monitoring production flow by coordinating with relevant personnel
  • Leading process enhancement and efficiency programs
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures
  • Participating in and contributing to site audits as needed
  • Managing customer relationships directly and liaising with Sales and Marketing for effective relationship management
  • Supervising the resolution of delivery issues
  • Contributing to saving and improving lives

Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant experience in Goods Manufacturing
  • Demonstrated effective leadership abilities and/or experience in people management
  • Proven skills in communication
  • Ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner based on professional judgement and risk assessment

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in, or understanding of the healthcare sector
  • Knowledge of aseptic compounding/pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Demonstrated capacity to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Business acumen
  • Familiarity with the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice
