Haltech is a world leader in engine management systems. Our mission is to empower automotive enthusiasm using technology. We are looking to fill multiple positions within our sales and technical support team based in Sydney Australia.

These roles will focus on selling and providing product technical support for Haltech's full range of products which includes, engine control units, digital displays, power distribution modules and data acquisition and analysis systems.


  • Work for a dynamic company shaking up our market.
  • Help build and educate a network of passionate enthusiasts and workshop customers on how to select, sell, install, calibrate and dominate using Haltech products.
  • Solve problems, create solutions, talk cars all day every day and get paid for it.

This role involves:

  • Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Providing technical and sales support to dealers and customers.
  • Maintaining and growing our loyal customer base within an assigned territory or cluster.


Fault Finding
  • Troubleshooting electrical installations, mechanical problems and PC software installation issues.
  • May include infield technical support at race meetings and customer premises (some travel and weekend work involved).
  • May include dynamometer testing and engine tuning.
  • Organise, set up and manage onsite events as scheduled (promotional trade exhibitions, regional Haltech seminars etc)
  • Assisting with software and/or firmware feedback.
  • Preparation and maintenance of related internal and external technical documentation.
  • Setup and maintenance of customer files and documentation in accordance with standard procedures

The right person will have:

  • A keen passion for performance cars and electronic technology products
  • Working knowledge of aftermarket engine management systems and EFI systems
  • Sound knowledge of internal combustion engines, performance modifications and forced induction systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Trade or tertiary qualifications are preferred but not essential
  • An upbeat demeanour and cando attitude
  • Australian Permanent Residency
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Strong selfmanagement skills with the ability to work unsupervised and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent drive and initiative, proactive desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Most importantly, you will speak our language (no, I don't mean English although that is also a requirement).

This is a customer-facing role and as such your ability to relate to people, communicate clearly and always "win the person" is more important than your formal qualifications.

Salary Range:
Multiple positions available, Salary commensurate with experience. Entry-level roles start at $50K/year.
