You will be assisting the Pricing Manager in identifying the underlying risk drivers of performance affecting the current and future profitability of the portfolios and to work closely with the customer segments to develop the appropriate book price positions.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Utilizing technical pricing models to drive pricing outcomes overlaying elasticity models and competitor price movements.
- Provide insights of the market trends and recommendations on pricing
- Contribute insights and support the execution of pricing strategies
- Guiding analyst/senior analyst in BAU pricing and adhoc projects.
To be considered for the role;
- A degree in a numerate discipline; Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial, Machine Learning
- 5+ years of General Insurance pricing experience.
- Prior rate setting experience will have a strong advantage.
- Technical skills in either SAS, R or Python.
