About the CNED
The Clinical Nursing Education Department provides Austin Health with contemporary, evidence-based clinical education programs which are congruent with organisational strategic plans and needs.
Clinical education is delivered by the Nursing Education team, predominantly through an inter-professional, collaborative and person-centered approach which encompasses all available and appropriate teaching and learning methodologies.
About the role
A three day a week limited tenure Clinical Nurse Educator position located in ward 5 west.
Ward 5 West is a 28 bed unit which encompasses Respiratory Medicine, VRSS (state wide home ventilation service), Sleep Laboratory (2 Beds), Ventilation Weaning Unit and Respiratory High Dependency Unit (HDU).
A regular day will see you:
- Supporting learners to deliver quality care to complex HDU patients
- Leading a clinical support nurse team
- Responding to organisation and local education requirements.
