Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records and files.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to disability services.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government officials, service providers, and community organizations, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct research and analysis on disabilityrelated issues, preparing reports and recommendations for senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate databases and systems to track relevant information and statistics.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to internal and external stakeholders regarding disability services and programs.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes in the disability sector.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the disability sector or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of disability issues, legislation, and policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively.
  • Proficient in using office software and technology, including MS Office Suite and database management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, and present data effectively.
