About the Opportunity


This role supports the coordination of executive governance bodies to enable the effective planning, delivery, reporting and evaluation of energy and emissions programs and projects across OECC.

About the team


In addition to managing and coordinating executive governance bodies, we also provide policy advice that informs decision-making on strategic energy and emissions projects and initiatives.


The Strategy & Implementation division coordinates the delivery of NSW Government's key energy and climate strategic initiatives, including the Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap and the recently announced landmark $7.8 billion Rewiring the Nation deal with the Commonwealth Government.


Your role would include

  • Assisting with developing and implementing strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of program and projects to identify and address issues and assess project progress and overall effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders on project and program delivery.
  • Preparing a range of documents including briefs, reports, procedures, and status updates.

Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
  • Experience coordinating working groups or Steering Committee / Board meetings is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
