How will I help?
We are looking for a new manager to join our team.

As a Manager, Customer Remediation you will report to the Practice Leader, Breach Reporting and Remediation Governance and work closely with the Senior Manager, Remediation Governance.

The Remediation Governance team sits within Enterprise Compliance. The team is responsible for frameworks, policies and procedures, reporting and monitoring relating to customer remediation at Westpac.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of Group Customer Remediation Policy, Standard and guidance
  • Maintaining and updating remediation eAcademy models
  • Conducting Thematic Deep Dives
  • Controls testing
  • Management of remediation charity panel
  • Providing remediation advice to Divisions and LoBs.
  • Ad hoc training delivery to Divisional teams

What do I need?

  • Experience in a governance, compliance or monitoring role within financial services
  • Understanding of customer remediation and the incident management framework and process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to fair outcomes for our customers
  • Some experience in remediation delivery or governance would be ideal
