In this role you will support Council's asset system lifecycle activities in accordance with Council's Asset Management Strategy.

As part of the role, you will also:

  • Optimise AM workflows and enhance integrations with other enterprise systems (like GIS, CRM and EDMS).
  • Develop functional specifications_ _to ensure solution viability, consistency and fit for purpose.
  • Manage asset data standards, collection, interrogation, visualisation and reporting.
  • Assist with asset accounting and financial reporting
  • Manage systems to facilitate best appropriate Asset Management consistent with Council's Asset Management Policy and Strategy.

To be considered for the role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Information Systems, Data Science, Business, Systems Engineering) or demonstrated relevant experience
  • Experience with Web Application programming such as NET or Java, ability to interact with database and Rest Service

  • GIS spatial analysis skills such as Intramaps, QGIS, SQL Spatial, MapInfo, ESRI or ArcGIS.
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience using relational databases, SQL language and SQL writing skills
  • Strong initiative, attention to detail and organisation skills
  • A current Drivers Licence.
