Job Description
  • Supporting the scheduling and coordination of network access requests across electricity distribution and sub transmission networks.
  • Facilitating safe and secure network access for planned maintenance or asset installations.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of network operations, switching arrangements, and network topology.
  • Submitting accurate Switching Schedules for planned and emergency works.
  • Reviewing and approving network access applications and switching schedules.
  • Liaising with field resources, customers, and authorities to ensure effective network access planning.
  • Submitting customer planned outage notifications and minimizing customer impact.
  • Ensuring activities are carried out safely and meeting environmental targets.

Requirements:

  • Training or qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Electricity Distribution & sub transmission Network operations.
  • Experience with Electrical Safety practices and operational procedures.
  • Basic understanding of construction and maintenance activities related to system plant.
  • Knowledge of electrical operational switching within a distribution network.
  • Experience with Distribution Management Systems is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and owner's mindset.
  • Ability to drive culture change and employee feedback aligned with company values.
