The successful candidate will join the Economic Policy Team, which plays a central role in addressing Queensland's key economic policy issues, including human capital, infrastructure, education, small business and energy.

About usAt the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and to Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions and objectives for the betterment of the community.

The Economic Policy team plays a central role in addressing Queensland's key economic policy issues, including human capital, infrastructure, education, small business and energy.

The team works closely with Queensland Treasury and all Queensland Government economic departments and agencies to progress the government's strategic policy objectives and agenda.

Your opportunityAs a Senior Policy Officer, you will assist with the identification, development and implementation of integrated policies, legislation and programs for Queensland.

As part of a central agency you will work in partnership with our stakeholders across government to deliver best practice policy advice to the Premier and Cabinet.
