My client is a leading accounting, advisory and financial planning firm, based in Parramatta.


In this role you will be managing a portfolio of approximately $400k in fees, while working collaboratively with onshore and offshore team members.

Client industries include health, property, professionals, HNWI's and passive investment clients, along with a number of larger corporates. You will have plenty of client contact and fantastic mentorship from the 3 Partners.

The staff retention rate at the firm is incredibly high and a testament to the great work/life balance promoted from the Partners.

Outside of the busy season everyone generally enjoys a 9 to 5 work day, flexible working and mínimal overtime. The firm provides support for study and further professional development, and holds bi-annual salary reviews.

As a practice they principally use Xero and Class Super software.

Key duties include:

  • Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
  • Working as part of a team where you will work closely with Partners, Seniors, and juniors
  • Delegating and reviewing juniors work
  • Liaising with clients and other external service providers
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Advisory/Services/Taxation within an Australian accounting firm
  • Experience reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A willingness to lead, and an interest in furthering their career
