The primary objective of this role is to maintain the Warehouse function to ensure supplies of materials and finished goods are available within required timeframes and the Warehouse is operating effectively and to maximum efficiency.


This includes:

  • Lead safety by example through consistent actions and zero tolerance for unsafe conditions and behaviours
  • Drive continuous improvement and "JDI" projects, utilising lean methodologies and value stream mapping activities
  • Determine, implement and monitor purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
  • Contribute to a reduction in working capital by the developing plans and appropriate KPI's to focus the business on the optimization of inventory across at all levels of the supply chain
  • Coordinate logistics projects through partnering with crossfunctional teams across the organisation
  • Liaise with planning, logistics, sales and manufacturing so as to achieve optimum results in production efficiency

  • Experience working in a highvolume warehouse and distribution environment
  • A proven track record of attention to detail, delivering safety, quality, and continuous improvement processes.

  • Knowledge SAP guided WMS (Warehouse Management System) skills
