The Role
We are searching for an individual to take on a crucial role within our organisation.

As the SDA Participant Engagement Specialist, you will be at the forefront of empowering participants in realising their housing objectives at Housing Choices Australia.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will ensure that participants seamlessly progress to successful tenancy, offering insights into HCA housing options, Your dedication and expertise will be pivotal in ensuring our clients' success.

Skills and Experiences:

About You:

  • Sound understanding of the NDIS, in particular the standards and funding for Specialist Disability Accommodation
  • Knowledge or experience in specific challenges individuals with a disability face
  • Experience in supporting individuals to achieve successful outcomes in a coordinated approach
  • Experience in disability and consumer engagement
  • Proven experience in building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Welldeveloped developed written and oral communication skills together with strong interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work well within a team
Desirable

  • Proven experience and successful track record in a comparable role or discipline(s) in the public/community, private housing sector or transferable sector
  • People with a lived experience of accessing NDIS supports
