Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of lesson planning, curriculum, and supporting program staff
  • Collaborating to deliver a vocational curriculum aligned with adult learning principles
  • Guiding participants in recognizing their strengths and workplace readiness
  • Developing and maintaining personal development plans
  • Enhancing participants' workplace-related skills
  • Preparing participants for employer engagement visits
  • Modeling professional workplace behaviors
  • Providing participant development reports
  • Utilizing reflective teaching practices
  • Resolving ICT issues with participants
  • Collecting program feedback for continuous improvement

About You

We're looking for individuals who are passionate, have a positive attitude, and a thirst for learning. You should align with Yooralla's values and possess:

  • Minimum Certificate IV or relevant experience in disability or community services
  • Understanding of intellectual disability and its educational implications
  • Knowledge of participant learning initiatives
  • Experience in a blended learning environment
  • Ability to assess participant learning data
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Supportive attitude towards participant development
  • Proficiency in ICT platforms and LMS

Other requirements:

  • Working with Children's Check if necessary
  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • International Police Check if necessary
  • Australian Driver License
  • Own smartphone or tablet for shift communication
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification if not already held
