The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our Consumer Healthcare team on part time 12- month Fixed Term Contract (working 3 days per week).
This exciting role has a sole focus on new product development (NPD) to help drive innovation, support the ideation, evaluation and execution of new product launches to align with the strategic direction of our leading DermaVeen brand.
- Key accountabilities include:_
- Coordinating and executing NPD to lead, initiate and manage the product innovation projects including strategy, financial modelling/planning and project oversight
- Working across crossfunctional teams to drive NPD
- Driving innovation brand strategy via NPD gap fill, brand stretch and new brand launch opportunities, claims innovation and new business models
- Management of key packaging and artwork updates, formulation modifications, sustainability brand activities
About You
You will bring to this role a broad understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare, FMCG, beauty industry with at least 3 years commercial brand management experience.
- Commercial and financial analysis ability to effectively manage key brand operational activities
- Experience in managing a brand P&L
- Experience using scan or exwholesaler data reporting (Aztec, IMS or Nielsen).
- Understanding of the TGA guidelines in relation to advertising of therapeutic products
- Sound knowledge of marketing principles
- Previous experience in new product development and/or sales highly regarded
- Business or marketing related degree.
