About the role

We're seeking a Reporting and Data Insight Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the advancement of the reporting and analytics capabilities of Transurban's Workday platform.

You'll join an innovative team that supports strategic projects across the ERP Portfolio including Finance, Procurement and People & Culture.

As our Reporting and Data Insight Specialist, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Supporting reporting capabilities across the Workday platform
  • Identify reporting and data issues and make recommendations for improvements
  • Developing and deploying automated reporting processes to streamline data collection, aggregation, and dissemination
  • Incorporate external data sources to further our understanding of cost and revenue drivers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within ERP systems

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • At least 5 years' experience with Workday and Adaptive Insights
  • Workiva experience would be an advantage
  • Experience in process analysis (including process design and improvement), and have worked across multiple phases of the systems development life cycle
  • Ability to apply advanced analytics knowledge to the real world
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
