Are you passionate about creating positive change for First Nations people? Are you skilled at building relationships and engaging with communities? If so, an exciting opportunity is now available for a First Nations Engagement Officer to join our Murri Engagement Team.


As a First Nations Engagement Officer, you will assist in the promotion of UniSQ as a provider of choice in higher education pathways for First Nations peoples through engagement with schools, industry and communities.

You will support the planning of events and marketing campaigns as well as support activities that engage schools, TAFEs, industry and community organisations to provide pathways for First Nations peoples into higher education.


What will help you succeed?

  • An understanding of Australian First Nations perspectives as well as experience working with and communicating sensitively with First Nations people.
  • A Diploma qualification as well as experience in engagement and outreach activities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritise work activities in order to achieve high quality work outcomes.
