Mandatory Requirements

  • Candidates must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a foreign national with authorisation to work in Australia
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence

The Asset Planning and Performance Officer plays a vital role in supporting the continuous improvement and development of the organisation's asset management to ensure and enhance asset reliability.

The successful applicant will support a preventative risk-based approach to asset management to ensure decisions are made with consideration to service expectations and expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement through acquisition and maintenance of asset condition.

• Coordinate and facilitate asset investigations, condition assessments and asset audits.

• Support the management and delivery of renewal investigations and projects.

• Collect, analyse, interpret, and verify large data sets relating to asset performance.

• Support the delivery of Asset Management Plans.

• Facilitate upgrades and renewals.

• Prepare renewal project scopes, cost estimates, and assist with forward renewal budget planning.

• Support strategic asset planning for asset renewals.

• Contribute to the development of 10-year asset renewal programs and budgets.

• Support and delivery of Asset Management Framework initiatives.

• Support the analysis of asset risks, based on criticality, condition and performance data, and determine the renewal priority of assets after consultation.

This role is a full-time opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.

  • Experience in asset management and renewal planning.
  • Well-developed analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Experience undertaking onsite condition assessments.
  • Experience with procurement and contractor management.
  • Qualification/s in an engineering, data analysis or trade field, with relevant experience in asset management, project management or a related field, or other qualifications with relevant experience.
