About the Project
Embark on a groundbreaking journey with a State Government Department as they spearhead the Spatial Digital project.

The aim? To construct a digital model of real-life assets within the State Government Department, empowering the organisation with invaluable insights for assessment, scenario planning, and decision-making throughout the asset lifecycle.

Primary Purpose of the Role
As our Test Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our spatial digital twin and GIS capabilities across organisational domains

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading testing efforts to validate the acquisition and preparation of spatial and nonspatial data.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, with a focus on operational workflows and data integration.
  • Collaborating with project teams to enforce quality assurance processes and enhance the overall project quality.
  • Providing expertise in testing methodologies and tools to optimise the testing process.

Key Accountabilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing testing activities to ensure alignment with business requirements and timely project delivery.
  • Developing a comprehensive test strategy aligned with programme objectives.
  • Leading testing activities in a multivendor, multiplatform environment.
  • Creating, reviewing, and managing test artefacts across all testing phases.

Experience Advantage
If you have experience in the following areas, it's a plus:

  • Test Assurance Management within large and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Testing of SaaS and cloudbased systems, including Azure and AWS.
  • Leadership experience managing technical and nontechnical test analysts.
  • Testing of 2D & 3D spatial data components and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with ETL processes within spatial and nonspatial data pipelines.
  • Ideally, you'll be located in the Sydney metropolitan area.
