Monday-Friday
AFTERNOON SHIFT 2PM - 10:30PM with a 30 Minute lunch break (non negotiable)
Overtime availiable

Responsibilities:

  • Assist diesel mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other related components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and schedule repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including parts inventory and work performed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in diesel mechanics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in diesel technology or a related field.
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and software (not essential)
