We are committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Service Technician.
About the RoleThe Lead Service Technician will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centres, including the maintenance, repair, and response of critical systems.
This role will involve managing a team of skilled technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring that all critical infrastructure is properly maintained and functioning.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Oversee the maintenance and repair of critical systems, including electrical, mechanical, and fire services.
- Manage Daily Operations: Coordinate the activities of in-house technicians and third-party contractors, ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with CDC's safety policies and procedures.
- Manage and Prioritise Maintenance Activities: Prioritise maintenance activities, ensuring that critical systems are properly maintained and functioning.
- Support the Technical Services Team: Provide technical support and guidance to the Technical Services team, ensuring that all service requests are responded to promptly and efficiently.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in data centre operations and maintenance.
Candidates should have a trade or tertiary qualification in engineering, and prior experience in supervising and coordinating maintenance activities.
They should also have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Trade or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering: A trade or tertiary qualification in engineering, such as electrical, mechanical, or fire engineering.
- Prior Experience in Data Centre Operations: Prior experience in data centre operations and maintenance, including supervising and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
