Competency Training (RTO#31299) industry leading training brand owned by Verbrec with training facilities in Brisbane, Central Queensland, Perth, and Adelaide.

We also deliver and manage on-site training for some of the largest companies and projects throughout the world. We specialise in training and assessment for the Construction, Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Electrical sectors.

About the role

Our Competency Training team, based in Brisbane, has a range of opportunities for experienced Instructional Designers for immediate and ongoing work with our clients.

We are looking for experienced professionals who can hit the ground running to:

  • Design and develop resources to support the delivery and assessment of Nationally Recognized training, including, however not limited to:
  • Training & Assessment Strategies
  • Mapping Guides
  • Learner Guides / Assessor Guides
  • Presentations
  • Assessment Instruments
  • Research and evaluate source data to support resource development,
  • Liaise directly with Subject Matter Experts for resource development,

About you
Ideally, you will have a technical background with experience in operational and maintenance environments.

You will also have a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, and have a sound working knowledge of the VET sector and the Australian Qualifications Framework.
