About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Instructional Designer to join our team in Brisbane CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality learning materials and activities for our Service Modernisation Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a diverse range of learning resources, including digital and face-to-face interventions, to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and deliver learning solutions that align with our organisational strategies.
  • Apply proven instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning materials.
  • Participate in consultations, including training needs analysis and training plans, to ensure that our learning solutions meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Coordinate projects within prescribed timeframes, liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of our Learning and Development strategy and framework.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher.
  • 3+ years' experience in a learning development/instructional design role, designing and developing digital and face-to-face learning interventions.
  • Experience administering and deploying learning content in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Rise, TechSmith Camtasia or Adobe Pro, Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
