We are in need of a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our client's team. Your main focus will be managing the Labour & Maintenance Category, ensuring smooth stakeholder engagement and effective contract administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging effectively with stakeholders across various business units, operational sites, and project teams.
  • Fostering positive relationships with both new and existing Supply Partners.
  • Efficiently overseeing key labour contracts' administration.
  • Compiling and analyzing crucial data for successful contract management.
  • Monitoring contract performance areas, conducting investigations, and aiding in claims resolution.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and practices, especially within the labour/services category.
  • Analyzing data to support commercial strategies effectively.
  • Identifying risks and developing mitigations related to commercial strategies.
  • Establishing commercial terms and conditions in alignment with approved strategies.
  • Assessing and evaluating tender responses according to agreed commercial strategies.
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with supply partners.
  • Preparing and facilitating contract documentation for execution.
  • Providing commercial awareness training to end users, project teams, and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of procurement experience in major projects.
  • Degree in Commerce, Law, Engineering, and/or Supply Chain.
  • Extensive expertise in contract formation and administration, encompassing various contract types, terms, commercial models, and legal requirements.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A drive for challenging the status quo and constantly seeking improvement opportunities.
  • Strong focus on details and analytical problem-solving abilities.
