The Opportunity

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Administration Supervisor will provide effective leadership to a diverse team; incorporating service advisors, warranty clerks and customer service staff; to deliver outstanding customer service to a wide range of customers in the transport industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set goals and manage both team and individual performance.
  • Manage bookings, reminders, and followup communications to support customers and optimise workshop productivity.
  • Manage customer communications, including effective resolution of customer concerns.
  • Monitor the qualityofservice delivery, identifying training needs and organising training interventions as necessary.
  • Mentor team members and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Ensure accurate quotes, costing and invoicing in support of service efficiency.
  • Manage warranty process to optimise cost recovery.
  • Manage maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment.

About You

  • Degree or formal business qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Three years' experience of supervising a customer facing, administrative, or workshop team.
  • Experience in a service advisor or similar service administrative role.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement or Six sigma processes.
  • Demonstrable record of excellent customer service including complaint resolution.
  • Experience in the transport, automotive or equipment industry and previous leadership experience will be highly regarded.
