Your Opportunity


Joining KPMG's ABG practice as a Manager in our Melbourne Office you will assume a senior role in facilitating and helping to manage the team and a wide range of client engagements.

Our team provides a broad range of services to support clients from start-ups to large multinationals.

You will help continue to grow our business through your involvement in the following:

  • Manage delivery of client engagements and help identify new ways for them to accelerate their research, innovation, and commercialisation goals.
  • Act as performance development manager to a growing team of consultants and help mentor them on their professional journey.
  • Work with other KPMG professionals (in Australia and overseas) to assist our clients with related matters such as IP, structuring, finance and tax.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities in the local market.
  • Manage complex projects and deliver client engagements on time and within budget.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Ideally three (or more) years of practical experience with the R&D Tax Incentive program.
  • Leadership skills and experience with or ambition to start leading a team.
  • Engineering, Information technology, Science or related qualification; and/or Business, Commerce or Law related tertiary qualification is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client and commercial relationships.
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail with a history of exceptional client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoin)
