About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team at CommBank. As an Enterprise Architect - Governance, you will play a critical role in helping our technology delivery teams understand how their program fits into our wider group view on how we should structure our technology solutions to stay future-fit, compliant, and best-in-market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Enterprise Architecture frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology standards and guardrails and recommend them to the team.
  • Validate solution architectures against architecture blueprints to ensure they meet the organization's requirements.
  • Chair design and architecture forums to discuss and agree on technology solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in producing reference material, architectures with a focus on designing for an enterprise-wide capability model.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT Framework.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid experience in working across various business units or Lines of Business (LOB) levels.
  • Experience in building and managing relationships at a senior level.
