Job Overview

Compare Club is seeking an SEO Executive to contribute to the organic customer acquisition strategy across existing and new businesses. You will primarily focus on day-to-day SEO analysis and implementation, while learning and developing your skills across technical SEO, keyword research, content strategy and link acquisition.

You will be working with the SEO Manager and Head of Acquisition to proactively contribute to crafting and implementation of SEO strategies to improve results.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular SEO audits and implement updates for technical issues, crawling, indexing, page speed, and site structure.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to prioritize SEO tasks and integrate them into sprint schedules.
  • Provide hands-on support for website updates, coding, and tool implementation.
  • Offer strategic recommendations for content development aligned with SEO objectives and work with the brand & content team to ensure compliance.
  • Manage influencer partnerships and execute diverse link building campaigns to enhance site authority.
  • Continuously refine and educate on best practices to ensure SEO strategy aligns with business growth objectives and industry standards.
  • Lead comprehensive research including link analysis, competitor analysis, and keyword research to identify and capitalize on optimization opportunities.
  • Execute targeted outreach campaigns via email and maintain communication with prospects, while also curating a database of reputable industry sources for content references.
  • Collaborate with content writers to create detailed briefs, optimize existing content, and suggest new topics based on customer needs and market trends. Additionally, assist with on-page optimization and provide regular performance reports and insights.
  • Expand upon existing SEO focused content by sourcing 3rd party data & relevant resources
  • Assist in the crafting of digital PR centric media releases to be syndicated to publications & journalists globally

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years SEO experience - gained in an agency, freelance, or client-side setting, is required
  • Passionate about SEO and Digital Marketing.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Familiarity with various CMS platforms like WordPress and Magento, as well as basic HTML/CSS. Proficiency in at least one SEO tool such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, Brightedge, Deepcrawl, BuzzSumo, Majestic, or Serpstat.
  • Confident to provide regular feedback as this will be done on a regular basis
  • Ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Must possess the capability to effectively manage your time and prioritize tasks.
  • Create database of reputable sources for relevant industry data and statistics for content references.
  • An understanding of the broader digital marketing landscape and the role an SEO strategy plays in achieving overall digital growth alongside a variety of other performance channels..
