About this Opportunity

Join our team as a Quality Improvement Specialist where you will be a crucial part of various health care teams, focusing on providing guidance and support to enhance the local operational team's capabilities. You will be involved in auditing, accreditation, complaints, and incident management.

The role is located in Sydney South West with occasional travel to other areas as needed for different health care settings. This is a full-time permanent position, working 76 hours per fortnight. Collaborating with the operations team, you will be responsible for implementing and creating quality management strategies to drive ongoing improvements. Some travel may be necessary based on negotiated hours.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse group of stakeholders internally and externally. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will play a vital role in your success. You should be well-organized, efficient, and be able to understand and address the needs of management, staff, and clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in quality improvement/management in health or aged care
  • RN registration/qualification
  • Flu vaccination
  • Experience in providing advice on complaints management and clinical investigations
  • Understanding of modern approaches to quality management in health/aged care
  • Passionate about social change and supporting disadvantaged individuals
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships
