About the Role
The contract Specialist works as part of a team of specialists within the Quality function for SSI’s Employment Services division.
The role is responsible for managing service contracts to ensure all external services meet agreed commercial contractual requirements performance and service quality of SSI’s Employment Services programs by Liaising on behalf of the organisation in matters relating to assigned contracts, maintaining liaison between company and Stakeholders and funding bodies through preparation and coordination of applicable correspondence.
The role is responsible on identifying areas of compliance, potential compliance risk areas, and areas for improvement by working collaboratively with the quality team to ensure internal system, process and policies meet updated contractual requirements.

**Key Responsibilities not limited to**:

- Be an integral contributing member of a team of Employment Services specialists in the area of contract service delivery excellence, and performance improvement and development.
- Maintain knowledge of contractual, regulatory, policy, and compliance requirements for the Employment Services programs that SSI delivers.
- Acting as a member of the negotiating team on company contract proposals on amendments and supplementary agreements thereto.
- Liaising on behalf of the organisation in matters relating to assigned contracts, maintaining liaison between company and Stakeholders and funding bodies through preparation and coordination of applicable correspondence.
- Liaise and effectively engage with managers and staff across the Employment Services division regularly and as required to prepare for and conduct internal audits.
- Assisting with the development of terms and conditions for contract proposals in accordance with performance risk analysis and protection of company interest
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications
- Ensure training and development strategies are put in place to inform and upskill staff at site level, either online or in person, especially for areas of risk or to address compliance issues identified from internal audits.
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality
- Ensure high level quality administrative support and completion of tasks in line with SSI’s service delivery model, SSI’s policies and procedures, and contractual guidelines and requirements for Employment Services programs

Other duties as directed from time to time within your skills range and capacity.
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or similar qualification desirable or be willing to work towards.
- Experience working in a team to successfully deliver high quality service, deliverables, performance improvements, and operational outcomes.
- High level customer centric approach and the ability to achieve quality and accuracy in service standards, KPIs, and targets.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks and reporting.
- The ability to read, analyse and interpret DEEDS, data, and to present data, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in identifying operational efficiencies and implementing strategies for increased performance.
- Good working knowledge of current Employment Services contracts and guidelines, or the ability to understand and interpret government contracts, deeds or guidelines, and funding systems and requirements.
- High level digital literacy, including current working knowledge of the ESS Web system, or the ability to pick up new systems and software programs quickly.
